Can My Child Learn Online?

The Benefits of an Online K-12 Education
Another benefit of an online K-12 school is personalized instruction. Most online schools offer one-on-one tutoring or small group sessions that allow students to get individualized attention from experienced educators. This can be especially helpful for students who may need extra support or guidance in certain areas. In addition, many online schools provide specialized programs tailored to meet the needs of specific student populations such as those with special needs or those who are gifted and talented learners.
How To Determine if an Online School is Right For Your Child
What To Look For In An Online K-12 School
- Teacher Supported – We as parents may not have the time or expertise to offer our children the best education. When choosing an online K-12 school for your child look for one who still utilizes a teacher for grading, tutoring, and mentorship.
- Accredited Curriculum – If your child plans to attend college after graduating from an online high school make sure the curriculum is accredited.
- Flexible Scheduling – Your child shouldn’t be held by a traditional school calendar. Make sure the online K-12 school you choose allows your child to login whenever from wherever. You child should be able to complete a semester of school at their pace be it fast or slow.
