All learning happens asynchronously meaning each student logs in at the best time for them and works at their own pace. All work is graded and corrected by our certified teachers. Teachers then schedule weekly video calls with students to teach, answer questions, and keep students accountable and on pace. Parents are always encouraged to be engaged in their child’s learning and are welcome to participate in these weekly calls however this is not required. Parents also receive weekly progress reports via email including grades and time spent in the courses.
Let’s first define a semester. Schappert Academy defines a semester as 6 courses. Students are able to complete a semesters worth of work in as little as 6 weeks or take as long as 20 weeks.
Schappert Academy uses a flat pricing per school year:
Grades K through 5 – $4,999/school year (not including fees and physical workbooks if desired)
Grades 6 through 12 – $5,999/school year (not including fees and physical workbooks if desired)
Scholarships and payment plans are available. Schedule a virtual open house to learn more.
Online education empowers students and parents to take ownership of their schedule and education. This allows students to work as fast or slow as desired. No longer are you at the mercy of the public school calendar. The biggest difference at Schappert Academy is your student will be 100% teacher supported. Each week they have a video conference call with their teacher to go over tests, homework, and get clarification on difficult concepts.
All K-12 curriculum at Schappert Academy is accredited by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission.
An internet connection and device (phone, tablet, computer). Schappert Academy is mobile friendly and works across all devices (Mac, Windows etc…)
Students are encouraged to login each day (Monday – Friday) and accomplish their learning for that day. From the dashboard students are presented with a calendar showing what tasks are required that day. Students are always welcome to work ahead and teachers are able to adapt curriculum if a student falls behind.
Students are able to login at anytime that is convenient for them 24/7. The only scheduled activities students will have are their weekly coaching calls with their teacher.
We specialize in continuous enrollment. Schappert Academy students can start at anytime and aren’t bound by a traditional school calendar.
Schappert Academy is looking for students with an eagerness to learn real-world concepts beyond the textbook.
Yes! We even take it a step further. Both parents and students receive weekly progress reports via email. Progress reports show grades, progress, and time spent learning each week.
